This short 11 minute short film is an early example of the genius of Taika Waititi. It shows his great talent in creating happy sad cinema and why he has gone on to become one of NZ's most known film directors. The very young actors in the film show amazing ability and maturity in dealing with NZ style humour around subjects that in many ways are very adult. This is a real gem.
